PREWAR LIONEL 168 "MAGIC ELECTROL" CONTROLLER

 

Lionel offered the 168 only from 1940 - 1942.  It came with two train magic electrol sets, and was used to selectively control the direction of either of the two locomotives.  

 

This example is in very nice condition, with no cracks or breaks.  It has mounting holes to allow for mounting on a layout or control board.  I do not have a magic electrol switcher, so I cannot test the functionality.
