1930'S LIONEL TRAINS PREWAR #57 MAIN STREET & BROADWAY LAMP POST LIGHT

A vintage (possibly antique) 1930's Lionel #57 Train Lamp Post, Main Street and Broadway. Made of diecast material, this AC-powered (usually, although DC works fine) accessory is compatible with standard gauge (of course can be used with O gauge) model trains and adds a touch of nostalgia to any train layout. Perfect for collectors or enthusiasts looking to enhance their scenery with a piece of history from the early days of model railroads and pre-WWII NYC.

 

Lionel offered the #57 from 1922 - 1942. As catalogued by Lionel, they were always 9E orange, although yellow versions exist that were sold under license by American Flyer.   This is the Main and Broadway version.  The finial is Nickel
