LIONEL PREWAR 604 OBSERVATION CAR

 

Lionel offered the 604 in two different version.  The version listed here is 6 1/2 inches long, and was offered from 1920 - 1925.  A third version, 7 1/2 inches long, was offered from 1930 - 1936.  This example is a Type III, yellow-orange with "MADE IN THE USA - THE LIONEL CORPORATION - NEW YORK" rubber stamped on the bottom.
