PREWAR LIONEL 630 OBSERVATION CAR

 

Lionel offered the 630 from 1924 - 1932.  This is the type V, red with cream trim and nickle journal boxes. 

 

This example has a couple of issues.  The clerestory backing is coming off, but is included.  Also the tabs holding the body to the frame are gone.  It still runs and displays just fine, but if you forget and pick it up by the body, it comes off, and you have to re-insert the tabs on the observation platform railing into the body.
