PREWAR LIONEL 2652 GONDOLA

 

Lionel offered the 2652 from 1939 - 1942.  This is the type III version in orange heat stamped markings and solenoid actuated simulated knuckle box couplers.   The type I was yellow with magnetic box couplers and nickel journals, and the type II was like the type I except with black journal boxes.
