Lionel Prewar 258 Steam Locomotive and 1689T Tender

 

This is a great runner, very fast, and the e-unit cycles perfectly

 

This uncatalogued later version of the 258 (the earlier version, an Ives design acquired by Lionel, is

quite different) was offered by Lionel only in 1941.

 

The Tender has been partially repainted, but it is the correct stamped 1689T
